Basically in a question all essence of the task.
How to install win7 + create recovery + set recovery hotkey?
In other words, how to make a factory setting that you can return to if the OS crashes?
and in other OS 7, 8, 10 will the principle of creating the above described tasks differ?

Install Windows, do a clean setup and explicitly, manually create a restore point with an adequate name.
In any incomprehensible situation, roll back to it.

Start - control panel - administration - backup and restore.
There you create an image of the system, choose where it will be stored and set up archiving.
Failover recovery in the same place.

The interface and menu names are different. And so it's the same.
