How to install Ubuntu 14.04 on Acer Aspire E 15?
The day before yesterday I bought a laptop Acer Aspire E 15 E5-511-C4AH (win 8, 64).
Two days trying unsuccessfully to install the OS.
In principle, the system was installed and loaded, but when it is turned off, it hangs with the Ubuntu logo and, apart from turning off the power, nothing helps. But if I press restart, it restarts the computer. Then he pressed to turn it off and he rebooted it anyway. I did as I read on the Internet Boot Mode: Legacy.
The last time I tried to install as described here . Gparted-> Flash to priority and install the system. Nothing happened. Now it doesn't boot at all (no bootable device).
Please help who faced similar incidents. All the same, I need to put only one system on this computer. I've been doing work on a netbook for two days now (the previous laptop is dead).

If it was installed but does not load (why then "I've been trying to install the OS unsuccessfully for two days" if it was installed?) - then install 15.04 instead of the ancient 14.04 - there are newer firewood, and more optimizations, and more convenient.
Boot Mode: Legacy is not really necessary, if you create an ESP partition and select the /boot/efi mount point, then it will boot in EFI mode, even faster.
It is impossible to tell more without logs and details.
