How to install ssl certificate on Remix Os?

I have VirtualBox. It is running a machine with Remix OS (root). I have my ssl certificate with .cer extension that needs to be installed on the remix.
All my attempts come down to the error: "The installation failed because the certificate file could not be opened."
I tried to open this certificate from different folders, different applications.
I mounted a flash drive with this certificate in the remix. Still this error all the time. What to do?
Is there a way to disable certificate verification? (setting -> Security -> unknown sources - that's not it)
Or how to install it after all?

What you will not meet in life :) Until now, I did not know what Remix OS was :)
In fact.
You don't have a certificate. Because a certificate is a file of the certificate itself, a certificate key file and a certificate file of the CA that issued your certificate, combined into one archive with the .p12 extension (PKCS#12 is an archive type). A .cer file is a third party certificate and can be used, for example, to encrypt a message for the person it belongs to. Therefore, if the certificate is issued by a well-known CA - Thawte, Comodo, Network Solutions - look for the key file, if it is a free or corporate CA - reissue it.
By the way, the classic android is very nervous about certificates issued by unknown CAs - it is worth adding the root certificate of the corporate CA to the system database - the android starts yelling "Aaaaah! Big Brother sees you!". Therefore, programs that work with certificates usually create their own databases. And everyone has their own rules for installing certificates in them :)
