How to install redmine from scratch on ubuntu server 18.04?

There is an idle stationary computer. I want to install ubuntu server 18.04 and redmine on it.
Already tried several manuals. But something is always missing. Either ruby, or a package installer in general, or some other bundle.
How to install redmine easily and as quickly as possible?

If there is no particular desire to delve into the installation and configuration, then the easiest way is to use the already configured image. There are a bunch of different and docker packages on the net to install and, even easier, virtualbox containers.
