How to install programs for Ubuntu amd64?

Installed Ubuntu 16.04 LTS amd64 desktop. So the problem is that I want to download and install Skype, for example, and during installation, the terminal always wants to download i386 packages for some reason, although I have amd64. How to fix this problem?

There is no 64bit skype.
