How to install Plex add-in in MS Excel 2016 on Mac OS X?

Good afternoon!
I have Mac OS X Yosemitte 10.10.4 with MS Excel 2016 installed. There is also a Plex (ver 2.4) setup for Excel.
Through the Tools > Add-Ins... menu, the add-in file is added and activated (checked next to it). However, the Plex menu does not appear in the Excel panel. Although the same version of the add-in is installed on MS Excel 2013 for Windows, and everything works fine there.
Will Plex even work with Excel 2016 on Mac OS?
If so, what should I do to make the add-on appear in the menu?
