How to install OSX next to a running Windows8 without losing data on one hard drive?
Hello dear!
Please answer this interested question:
I want to install Hackintosh OSX Yosemite 10.10 on my laptop.
There is an image downloaded a year ago from a torrent, it works fine in a virtual machine, but because of the virtual machine, the CPU \ VIDEO is cut.
It would be desirable that it was possible to be loaded on OSX separately from Windows.
At the moment, I actively use Windows, so I would not want to lose all installed software and data.
I want to do this
with Acronix to divide the disk, create a new partition and install OSX on it.
Please share step-by-step instructions on how to do it correctly for a beginner.
I will be extremely grateful for your answers.

So after all, the bootloader still needs to be changed, otherwise only one will be loaded. As for GRUB, I don't know if it supports OSX. And will the installer see the section at all. I don't recommend doing this at all. The hackintosh has a limited amount of supported hardware. It is very possible that there simply will not be firewood. And for beauty, you can roll a custom Temka onto Windows and change the start. True, in the new virtualbox there will be problems later, but oh well.
If you still want, you can click on the links here www.hackintosh.com/#hackintosh_compatible there is a list of supported hardware. I also recommend you google the installation manuals. There are a bunch of them on the internet.
