How to install OS X Mavericks on an unsupported Macbook?

There is a white plastic Mackbook 4.1 (13.3'', Core2Duo 2.4 GHz, 3 GB Ram).
Several times I came across a video on the net where OS X 10.10 was launched on it (although the last officially supported one is 10.7).
Question - how can this be done?
I found one way, but not the second poppy, which is supported by the new OS.
Anticipating possible questions and comments - done just for the musthave, as they say.

the video did not lie to you: you can do it, but you need a supported poppy.
if you don’t have it, find someone who has it and ask them to make an image, then you deploy it to a USB flash drive (or look for ready-made such images).
there is no practical sense in this, because you will get a slowpoke. put yourself the last snowleo or lion and live in peace.
