How to install memory on the server?
Good evening. Asus p9d-x series motherboard available (according to AIDA information). I bought two Samsung DDR3 1600 ECC 8 GB RAM modules for it.
When installing this memory, I removed the old bar, put in two new ones, I get one long, two short signals. RAM problem. I started looking at the sticker on the bar itself, there is a label among the model - DDR3L.
As I understand it, the board does not support such a RAM? Or is there any chance that these two modules will "start up" and work?

The board's specifications indicate that it supports U DIMM ECC memory. If you installed R DIMM ECC, then it will not start.
Check that the memory is channeled correctly. DDR3L is backward compatible with DDR3
