How to install Linux on an external SSD?

Actually, the question is in the header. It would seem that there should be nothing complicated, but I did not find a sensible solution. Please help. 200 r. kiwi to the one who will help.

Just like on a regular disk, you can also disconnect the rest from the PC during installation.
You can also cut it into a virtual machine and install it on a virtual machine without restarting the PC.

will boot in live-sd hubunty mode.
click install system.
set partition on ssd to mount point /
click next.
make sure that there is an entry with the correct parameters
hubuntu will be installed on the partition / dev / sda1 (here are the partition parameters on the ssd)
the boot record will be written on / dev / sda (there are the parameters of the ssd itself)
to find out, run the partition editor.
