How to install linux 2nd OS?
Good day. The PC has 2 disks - a partitioned HDD, I created one of the partitions specifically for linux, and allocated 500 GB to it, and an SSD on which Windows 10 is installed. - what OS to run?
Yes, I understand, there were questions similar to mine, but I did not find a solution, I also tried to google (maybe not good enough).
PS I want to install Kali Linux (Suddenly this is important).
Thanks in advance for your reply.

Read here , especially about OS Prober.
In general, I would still recommend using a virtual machine, because. for normal everyday use, Kali is not very suitable, and rebooting back and forth is sad)) And when installed in a virtual machine, Windows will be like the basis and Kali will be at hand.
UPD. And why do you need 500GB for Kali? 50GB (if it’s completely on a grand scale (but again the question is why so much?), let it be 100GB)) will be more than enough, or do you have a passlist over 400GB?))
You take it and put it. Grub will find the Windows itself and throw it into the config.
