How to install FN key drivers and other drivers on ASUS ROG Ubuntu?
Maybe someone came across.
There is an ASUS ROG-GL553VE, I installed Ubuntu 16 on it
- FN + F1-F9 keyboard shortcuts do not work
- Touchpad
- Video
Well, no drivers did not seem to work :)
There is no support on the official site.
Searched the Internet, found something but did not help.
How to be? Is there any chance to put firewood correctly on this model?

If you're asking the question "Senior" the answer is obviously to write it yourself
The touchpad should work out of the box. Look for information on the website of the touchpad manufacturer (Synaptics, etc.)
Video - ubunta itself installs free drivers so that you can work. For games, you need proprietary drivers if available and supported. Go to Настройки->Программы и обновления
, there you select the ones you need. Or go to the amd/nvidia website and download there, install it yourself.
On fn + combinations there is probably a utility for your laptop. If not, then put other combinations instead of fn and get used to it
