How to install Electron on Ubuntu 14.04?

On the Internet, almost all articles on this topic are in English. Could not find Russian documentation. Having decided, I copied everything that was said on the site into the terminal , but as a result I could not even start it.
Can someone tell me how to do it with the smallest details. I myself am new to Linux and got very tired installing LAMPP, doing everything as it says on the sites. But there was not a word about the hosts file that needs to be edited
. I myself am only a web developer and I don’t understand anything in terminals. Please help!
