How to install drivers without a floppy drive?
Situation:
I assembled a computer, installed Windows from a USB flash drive
. The keyboard and mouse work via USB, but the computer does not see
the USB flash drive. I can’t go online, I can’t install drivers from the USB flash drive either.
What can be done?
Windows 7

Try inserting the flash drive into the port where the mouse is inserted. Perhaps some of the ports work on USB 3.0, for which the drivers are not installed, and two ports with a keyboard and mouse hang on USB 2.0
I can also recommend installing a newer version of Windows - starting with Windows 8, drivers for USB 3.0 are built into the system
. you need to transfer the drivers to this particular computer - you can use the LiveCD with Linux, in which you can copy the necessary files from the USB flash drive to the hard drive. There are also SATA-USB adapters, with which you can also copy files to a hard drive already on another PC
I don't know, maybe I'm off topic. But, on a computer, I always install drivers using driverpack (not advertising). On a laptop or similar, it's better to put it yourself
I assembled a computer, installed Windows from a USB flash drive
copy the vid pid of the network card of the new computer, download the appropriate driver from the Internet, create a bootable USB flash drive (live usb is an operating system that runs directly from the USB flash drive), copy the driver to the bootable USB flash drive, boot from the bootable USB flash drive, copy the driver to the new computer, reboot into the new system and install the driver.
now you have internet access - download the chipset driver, then install superuser.com/a/997067 and https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3125574 , after that you can start searching for updates in windows update and then, in the recommended updates, install the driver updates that it offers.
superuser.com/a/997067it is desirable to do otherwise with the update service enabled, you will have 1 processor core loaded at 100% for a very long time until updates are found - on core 2 duo, for example, it will take a couple of days.
you can use driverpack instead of searching for a specific driver, there is a chance that some of the drivers will not be suitable for your computer, but this does not matter - you can remove them and find the correct ones manually.
