How to install Docker on mac os 10.12.6?

Good afternoon! Faced such a problem. I download the latest version of Docker (before that it was not installed in the system), I install it, it writes something like:

Incompatible macOS Version: 10.12.6.
Docker requires macOS version 10.13.0 or higher.

I’m going to look for a younger version of docker, sorting through everything, some also require higher Sierra, and some write this:
Settings version is too high for the application. Use the latest version or reset to factory defaults to continue.

In the end, I went through all the available versions of docker and none came up, knocking out one of the above errors. For the second error, I tried resetting docker to factory settings, but that returned the first error. Please tell me what to do, because I really would not want to update the system due to the fact that the macbook is 8 years old and it seems to me that it will slow down. In any case, I would like to understand. Thanks in advance!

MacBook is 8 years old and I think it will slow down

I always updated my "12-shku" to the current version, I did not observe the brakes.
Correct Answer: Upgrade.
In the end, you can always roll back the update.

In no case do not update, I went through this hemorrhagic! new versions of mac os on old hardware are wildly slow! To roll back you have to go through the circles of hell! the most stable is sierra 10.12.6 mac mini
