How to install cashcheck server for BGbilling?

I ask those who had experience how to properly install the CashCheck server on Windows 2008.

However, the installation does not take place. Through the command line I run server_install.bat - and nothing happens.
If I run jsl.exe --install, or jsl64, then it says that jsl.ini was not found. Perhaps you need to install some specific Java software? JRE1.8.0_144 is installed on the server, system environment variables are set.
Apparently, he is looking for these files in %JAVA HOME%. But there are none in the directory.
Also, the question is - must the printer (this is ATOL 55F) be connected to the server on which the CashCheck server is installed, or can it be configured to a remote printer? How then to connect this service with the billing server? The instructions are not very detailed.
I apologize for stupid questions, I'm generally a networker, but due to the nature of the company, I also sometimes have to deal with one or the other :)
