Why is the app-release.apk file not being generated?

Hello!
I'm trying to create an app-release.apk file.
When creating, I specify the storage, password, where to create the file.
The process is underway. When finished, there is no my file in the specified folder.
Tried to do Clean Project - does not help.
If anyone has experienced this, please let me know what's wrong.

If you do it in Android Studio, then when you select Generate Signed APK and the end of the process, there should be a popup about successful completion and a Show in Explorer link
