How to install an extension not from the google market?

I made an extension, I don’t want to publish it in the google market yet, I want to add a button to the site so that people can immediately install it in google chrome, how to implement it?

In fact, not at all.
If your clients are willing to launch a browser with a special key, then it will be possible to install extensions from a file, but this is an unlikely scenario.
The goal is to take control of the market for extensions (read applications) in order to monopolize the market, as happened in android mobile applications.
