How to install an additional I/O board for 6 GE pots in CISCO asa5525?

There is a CISCO ASA5525 with firmware asa922-4-smp-k8.bin
There are 8 built-in GE ports on board, all are busy.
There was a question about expanding the add. board for 6 GE ports.
According to the datasheet , you can insert there - "Cisco ASA interface board with 6 wired Gigabit Ethernet data ports for ASA 5525-X, catalog number - ASA-IC-6GE-CU-B"
Actually the question is:
1. Will the firmware allow working with 14 ports ?
2. Do I need any additional license to use this board?
3. Maybe there are pitfalls, what else do you need to know when installing / buying it?

Judging by the datasheet, the module has no special requirements, additional licenses are not needed for it.
