How to install a second OS with saving data?
Hello!
My disk was initially divided into three sections when I bought it. On my computer, this shows up as three drives. One of them is completely empty, I want to install a second OS (fedora).
Now I will create a bootable flash drive. Please tell me, can I select this disk during the installation process so that the OS is installed there? Will my information disappear from other sections?

yes, sure. + even during installation, you can split the disk into volumes as you want
If you have never installed an OS (which follows from the question), then it's better to practice on a virtual machine first. Then you can.
will not disappear if you do not overwrite sections.
to put fedora in dual boot with venda, you need to make sure that there is a UEFI boot system (on almost all new laptops), if there is \
better also read a couple of guides if you are not sure how to partition the disk and install grub2
I never installed fedora, but I think the wiki, like other developed Linux distributions, is complete and contains the answer to every question, and if not, then there is definitely everything on the forum :)
