How to install a scanner on Linux Mint?

Installed L.Mint. Everything is smooth, the printer recognized it, but the scanner did not work (Samsung scx 4200 MFP). With the "scanimage -L" command, it either says that the scanner saw it, or not (device `xerox_mfp:libusb:001:002' is a SAMSUNG ORION multi-function peripheral)
Neither in simple scan, nor in xsane, nor in vue scan sees him.
Sometimes in simple scan it recognizes samsung orion, but when you try to scan, everything is not successful.
The wires are fine, the printer too.
What are the ways to solve the problem? There are ways on the Internet, but they do not help.
