How to install a proprietary driver on VK from NVidia?
I have already tried many distributions on a laptop with a forwarded virtual machine gtx1660ti max-q:
- Fedora KDE, began to hang immediately, without working for a minute, it does not matter the installed version or Live-CD
- Debian KDE, with nouveau drivers sometimes hangs when it does not hang stably
- Fedora Gnome, I didn't run it much, but it seems to work stably, while it is buggy on POL application windows. The interface takes a long time to load. In principle, I don't like Gnome
- Garuda KDE, problems installing, and then configuring PlayOnLinux ... apparently it's stupid because of the fancy stuff. Stable
- Manjaro KDE, stable on nouveau, while using wine it's a problem to configure the software so that it works without glitches. Otherwise, it’s ideal for the desktop, if you don’t bother with Wine, I tried to install it 5 times, it’s rotten
- Deepin - hangs often, but less often Fedora with KDE
, as a result, I gravitate towards Debian, but how to set up a proprietary driver for it does not work, I sin on hangs on VK. After installation, a black monitor and no signal usually follow, while the VM is running.

Thank you all for your participation. I installed the driver according to this guide:
https://linuxhint.com/install-nvidia-drivers-debian-11/
The problem was only in the secure boot and the gasket between the chair and the monitor. A video card thrown on a laptop in a virtual machine with Linux has earned.
is there a guide on how to install desktop debian
roll on him sneakers and a proprietary driver from nvidia?
# apt install kde-plasma-desktop
