How to install a package in ubuntu live usb?

Hey!
I made liveusb ubuntu, I boot from it, and I would need to install one package, but it does not give (I understand that this is temporary, until shutdown), is there any way to get around it? or an older version? I tried on 18.04 and 16.04 (I don’t remember 14.04)
I would not like to assemble my live usb or install the system on a USB flash drive.

Well, he writes, the system for reading. To put some additional package in live-usb-ubuntu, you have to stick it into the system initialization. And there can be many options.
In the simplest case, you need to add a package inside the system image (or whatever it is called) and mention this package in the boot configs.
In a difficult case, create your own Ubuntu assembly and pack it as a live flash drive.
