How to install a driver for a Samsung smartphone without installing Kies?

There is a Samsung Galaxy [email protected] B-5330 phone ("from the old ones", Kies version 1.x is needed for it) and a computer with Windows XP. I would like to have access to the smartphone's file system via a USB cable (i.e. "media device" mode), but I don't want to install Kies with all its giblets at all, because I absolutely don't need any of its functionality, only a driver. I tried to unzip the Kies installer with 7zip - nothing interesting was unzipped. Please advise where to download. Thanks in advance.

1. create a restore point.
2. Install Kies.
3. Back up the driver with DriverMagican.
4. roll back to a restore point.
5. install the backed up driver.
6. ...
7. Profit!
