How to install a dependency in multiple folders in composer?

Good afternoon.
When adding/updating a dependency via composer, it is necessary to somehow configure that some of its folders/files should be located in one path, and others in another. Or run some script handler that will scatter them.
I would not like to reinvent the wheel, maybe this has already been implemented, but I just don’t know, in principle, are there composer / installers? Or can anyone come across?
