How to insert ads?

Gentlemen, I know that this question has already been asked, but in this matter I am a complete layman. There is a site written only in html and css, I don’t know any other languages, unfortunately. The site is created informational and, of course, its payback through advertising is desirable.
The question, in fact, is in the following, how to insert a script with advertising (I will use only google adscense) so that it appears on all pages in the place I specified. I currently have two divs in the body of each page for ads, but I'm not smart enough to figure out how to proceed. As far as I understand, Google gives you a script with ads that you need to insert into the script tag. Please, write down right on the shelves what files to create at the root, what to write in them and where to insert the script from Google. Thanks in advance)

If the site is made using only html and css and each page of the site is a separate independent file, then there are two options:
- go through all the pages with your hands and paste
- go through the search and replace all files and replace, for example, the opening "footer" tag with "ad_code footer".
