How to increase the voltage?

Good day.
There is a certain device (arduino + several sensors) that are powered by a 3.7v 150 mAh battery. There was a need to connect a display from Nokia 5110 (PCD8544), but the description states that 6–8.5V is needed to power the backlight. How to increase the voltage from 3.7 to 6 volts with a minimum number of additional elements, given that there is little space in the case?

DC-DC converter.
For normal operation, you will need a pair of resistors / capacitors.
In general, I recently soldered a circuit with exactly the same display and powered it with 3.3V, everything worked fine, there was enough brightness.
