How to increase the size of a shared folder?

There is a folder on win server2008r2, it takes 1.5TB~. It is shared between users on the local network. There was a need to increase the size of the folder for such purposes. There is an additional 2 TB screw. Can I somehow make it so that for the end user, after connecting the screw, the folder size becomes 3.5TB ~? In order not to connect another folder to them, but simply expand this one somehow?
