How to improve the performance of Acer Inspire V5 131 netbook?

Hello! I have such a problem: I bought an Acer Inspire V5 131 netbook for remote work on the road. For a long time I chose specifically for freelancing while traveling, for the money it was an ideal option. I knew that all netbooks are not very fast, and when buying I was ready to measure the slow speed of work, but apparently I underestimated. In fact, 2 GB of RAM with Windows 8 is barely enough. 42% of memory is occupied when no program is running.
There are several options, but I'm not sure which one is better:
1) Install Window 7 (disable unnecessary processes)
2) Change the RAM to 4g (if possible)
3) Install Windows XP (but support for office 13 is required)
4) Install Linux (again programs)
Tell me what to do?

It’s not worth changing 8-ku to 7-ku, 8-ka on weak hardware will even be a little bit faster. Adding RAM is a good option, but it won’t add much speed, because the 1.1 GHz celeron is rather weak in itself. Also, as an option, you can replace the HDD with an SSD, everything will move really faster.
