How to import data into 1C?

It is necessary to import data (documents) into 1C from the site.
I found the function "Universal data exchange in XML format", but it seems that it is not so universal, but only works between 1C, but regardless of the configuration.
Is there another way? Preferably without making changes to the existing configuration.

If it is possible to modify the site, then it is possible to organize uploading or sending data on the side of the site.
For example, to make a web service that, upon request, will return the necessary data in json or xml format.
Or send data to the mail in the same formats.
In 1C, external processing is written in which these data are processed.
(You can use the exchange format with Bitrix, for it you can find ready-made processing for 1C)
