How to implement web and xml document parsing in Windows 8.1 XAML application?

What's the best parsing method?
I used the HTMLAgilityPack library but it does not compile for Xaml applications, I also used the Python-script built into the application (it turned out a little but not quite).
The purpose of the application is to parse news sites and add most of the news to the database.
