How to implement the transfer of two 24 port patch panels?

There is a server cabinet that comes with two 24 port patch panels. There was a need to move this closet with all communications to another room. The distance is no more than 20 meters. As a former system administrator, I see 3 options:
1. Use an "adapter for connecting two patch cords", aka "rj-45 barrel".
2. Leave the old patch panels in the old place, where just plug the crimped cable from the new panels
3. Throw optics between the "old" and "new" switches, organizing a bridge.
