How to implement the front-end of an online store?

Good afternoon! People with experience, tell me, please.

If it is worth the task of making a really load-bearing and massive online store, what is better to choose? Would the answer change if, for example, the filters on the site were to be reactive?

I have several options with their pros and cons, I don’t know much about some and I can be wrong, but maybe you can explain what I’m wrong about?

1) CMS. Pretty slow, and why drag other people's mistakes if you can write your own?
2) React + SSR. I'm leaning towards this option, but I'm not sure that pulling react on MPA is a good idea, and I have bad feelings about the load on the server from SSR.
3) Template engines on the client side. Handlebars, mustache and more. It seems like everything is fine, but adding reactivity there will be a dubious decision, plus there will be some problems with SEO
optimization great

If I'm wrong somewhere - point it out, please. If I missed some good option - tell me. I will be grateful for any answers

the load is more about the backend, the influence of the front on this is not strong.
And if the store is without SSR, then you will be brainwashed by SEOs and other marketers who will be hired to promote it
