How to implement sms mailing securely?

Tell me please. Now I am writing a project in which SMS mailing will be used. It will not contain spam / advertising material and other "nasty things". The question is how best and most importantly safer to organize it. Is there a guarantee that using existing SMS gateways (like ePochta SMS or SMS Discount) the telephone base will not “float away” and users will not receive spam on these numbers in the future?

If there are few clients in the mailing list, then you can use a 3g whistle with a SIM card on which a lot of free SMS is activated - cheaper and more reliable.

SMS gateways allow you to send SMS to their database in three ways:
1. Through their web interface, the database is loaded directly into it. It is convenient that you can see the delivery status of each individual message
2. Through special software (increasingly these are air-applications)
3. Through the system API, this is your option, I believe.
NONE of the methods gives any guarantee, tk. all SMS messages and numbers are rigidly fixed in the system statistics at least. Either you trust the sender service, or you don't send SMS)

Yep, thanks for the replies. Yes, for now I really need the option to use the SMS gateway API. And such a question - I'll ask it right there - because. all on the same topic. Do mobile operators provide such an opportunity? If so, how much is it a legally laborious process (is it necessary to conclude an agreement? Do I have to provide guarantees that this will not be an advertising mailing, etc.) and how much it will cost (at least approximately, if anyone knows).

You can try through payment aggregators, for example
www.a1agregator.ru/main/solutions#smsrs
These are big serious companies that have been on the market for a bunch of years, and turn over huge amounts of traffic, money and sms. They have contracts directly with telecom operators, without intermediaries.

There are FSTEC licenses, we guarantee the security of the base, if necessary, we will help organize an IPSEC tunnel to encrypt traffic.

wrote a module for our CMS for sms-mailing. I used websms.ru as a service, there were no problems, they have a php API.
of course, there is a problem with security ... although the bases of telephone numbers are already on the Internet. the main thing is that your competitor does not get the numbers of your customers. Are you sure that your own base is well protected? And the numbers will not float away from you personally, and not from the SMS service?
