How to implement object filtering in yandex map?

I am writing my own service archive (test2.enggeo.ru)
I want to implement the ability to filter by the field (year of addition) for objects.
I use ymaps.LoadingObjectManager to load objects.
Actually, deleting all objects and making a selection again is cruel, and it's not very clear how to do it right .
Ideally, of course - the possibility of grouping at the stage of loading data based on the contents of the object field, but as I understand it, there is no such functionality.
This is where my ideas ended, maybe someone faced a similar problem?

The (Remote|Loading)ObjectManager assumes that the filtering is done by the server, and the filter is specified in the URL template.
The regular ObjectManager has https://tech.yandex.ru/maps/doc/jsapi/2.1-dev/ref/...
