How to implement news feed in joomla?

I almost completed my website design to the end and started to fill it in, and immediately ran into a problem, I want to divide the main page into 3-6 parts somewhere. (News, various articles, galleries and so on). And now I can't create a news module so that materials from the "News" category are displayed, I put different standard modules where the description fits, but it does not display anything. Please tell me how to make news on my site. So that I could add them normally and moderators could add them. And right away, on many sites I saw the news go like this - Title, description, details and that's it. Is it possible to add a small picture on the side of the news?
Thanks in advance.

Switch to WordPress. It's easier there

It is possible with standard modules, but they are too truncated for a news site, it is better to use some third-party modules, for example: Display News by BK, or any other - look here: extensions.joomla.org/extensions/news-display/arti...
To add users, use the built-in functionality of access rights: author, editor, manager.
And the picture can be added and displayed as you wish - all this and more can be implemented on Joomla.
