There is a website site.ru on it, it is necessary to implement multiregionality without creating folders on the site, so that the links look like this: site.ru/CITY/...
Please tell me how this can be implemented? Mb there is some article or the like. I unfortunately did not manage to find information about the implementation.

I did it through urlrewrite.php
if at the beginning of the url we see the city code, then we write it into a constant and remove it from the url
, as a result, the page is generated in the usual way,
and in the selections and tags we can always substitute the city code from the constant.
