How to implement employee birthday reminder to personnel?
Good afternoon. The task is this - three days before the employee's birthday, the entire HR department should receive a reminder (message / event) in the mail, how can this be implemented? In which direction to dig?
What we have - AD / Exchange is deployed, employees' birthdays are crammed into the extensionattribute, or you can read it from a file (it doesn't matter).
You can also use third-party software.

how I would do it:
every day using Powershell we collect a list of employees who have a DR in the next 3 days, save it to a file in the form we need
After that, we take the information from the file and send it via smtp-relay to the desired distribution group
Is there no 1C payroll and personnel management? Or, perhaps, in 1C: Accounting, employees are kept? I would make notifications from these bases. At the same time, you won’t need to maintain the database itself, the calculators will do it for you
So right in the settings there is a "Calendar of birthdays" and you don't need to farm anything.
I use the old program BIRTHDAY! millenium 4.12.
The text file is filled with the necessary dates and that's it. The file can be placed on a network share, I have not tried to install it through AD, but I think there will be no problems.
