How to implement different templates for different categories - subcategories - posts?

Hello! I’m learning to assemble wordpress, there are basic questions that I can’t find answers to:
- For example, there are 2 headings - Portfolio and Projects - each heading has its own set of sub headings and a different output, but not only headings, but the entry itself for each heading different, i.e. depending on the parent?
- how to display links to social networks without plug-ins - such as your own set of drawn icons, such as making a Social Network heading and posts with attachments of pictures and links to display a set of social icons?
