How to implement captive portal for ios?
Good afternoon!
Help, please, deal with the issue. It is necessary that when connecting to a Wi-fi hotspot point (tablet with ubuntu) for IOS devices, a captive pop-up welcome window opens, with the “Login” button, when clicked, a specific local site opens in Safari. At the same time, it is necessary that the client does not click "Done" in the CNA window, so that everything is automatic, for example, as when connecting to a wi-fi network in the Moscow metro
. No user authentication is required.
I created a local file /hotspot-detect.html and indicated in it a link to the required local resource, sent requests to captive.apple.com to the tablet itself. When connected to Wi-fi, the window opens correctly, but when you click on the link specified in /hotspot-detect.html, the site opens directly in the CNA window and not in Safari, I tried most of the methods from the Internet, it did not help.
Has anyone completed this task? Maybe there are links to articles?
