I would like to ask a question about the advisability of calling R or Python language functions directly from Excel, for example, using the RExcel or ExcelPython libraries .
How applicable are these bundles in the automation of periodic reporting?

If you send an Excel file with formulas from these libraries, the recipient will at best see the #NAME? or #N/A?. And if another person comes, then he may not have the necessary qualifications.
I think many functions can be implemented in built-in VBA if there are no suitable functions in Excel itself or its Add-ins (for example, Solver or Analysis Pack).
