How to implement an “archived product type” on 1C-Bitrix?

There is 1C-Bitrix (v16.0.9), edition "Business". There are several thousand products on our website (online store). And there is a task to remove some goods from sales. But it is necessary to save it in the search results, i.e. leave detail page. Well, it would be nice to sign that the goods are "Archived".
There is a way to deactivate a product in Bitrix, but this does not work.
Please tell me how this is done in Bitrix correctly?
Thank you in advance for your response!

Create the "Archived" property.
If the product has such a property, hide the "Buy" button, display the inscription "Archived". For the convenience of presentation in the catalog, you can change the sorting index so that such products are at the very end of the catalog list.

The most common case is to mark that the product is archived so that it does not appear in the list and in the search. But on the detailed page, the product should open for search engines.
In this situation, the easiest way is to use the activity as a feature of an archived product.
There is a checkbox in the product detail page settings (bitrix:catalog or bitrix:catalog.element component) to display inactive products.
As a result, when exchanging with 1C, the missing goods will turn out to be inactive - hence archival. Very comfortably.
