How to implement a sharp attenuation of the screen?
Hello everyone, I'm probably off topic here, but I have nowhere else to ask (although probably still on the topic because Garrys Mod uses Lua actively)
In general, there used to be a mod that added the death effect from The last of us, but this mod was deleted, and I thought about making it myself.
And now my question is how can I realize that if the player dies, then the camera is fixed in place from a third person (but it monitors the ragdoll where it flies (as the camera in football watches the ball)) then after a second the screen abruptly goes out together with a sound effect, and the sound in the game was muted so that it seems like you can hear it behind the wall.
