How to ignore empty cells when sorting a column in Grid Panel on ExtJS?

How can I make sure that when sorting a column in both ascending and descending order, empty cells always remain at the bottom? I am using ExtJS 4.0.7.

Write your own sort function for Store and define the sorting logic.
Doc with an example.
