How to host an app on raspberry pi?

I really want to host an application with a graphical interface written in python, on a raspberry in my room, so that at least someone from the outside can use the interface (the program parses the logs and provides it in a readable form). I also want to read more about technologies and implementation, but I don’t even know where to start.
