How to highlight motion in a video file?
I have 30 3 hour videos of different performances on stage with one fixed camera. I want to select the most dynamic moments for 1-2 minutes from each video. I tried the motion detector in iSpy with low sensitivity - it just catches good moments with a change of scenery and massive movement of characters, but it takes exactly from the moment the movement starts, there is no way to capture a little earlier, plus you have to wait until the entire video reaches the end. Maybe there are already some more suitable tools?

You have two independent tasks - mark the video for dynamism, cut the video into pieces based on these marks. Obviously, you will not find the answer in the finished form, since at least the algorithm for choosing the moment for cutting out a piece is ... implicit, you still have to formulate it.
you can get timestamps using the same vlc
in the file modec.log shield moving shapes there will be timestamps
then using ffmpeg cut as you like
