How to highlight all non-ascii characters in a file?

Greetings!
It is required to see all non-ascii characters in the source file, including lines.
I found the appropriate settings (see screenshot), with these settings, the word hello in the line should be highlighted, but this does not happen, what did I do wrong? The task is to remove all Cyrillic from the code. The screenshot shows that the checkbox is set opposite non-ascii characters in strings

It seems like a bug there, https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/WI-43522 and they haven't fixed it yet.
I solved the issue as follows, a regular search in the entire project
will show all non-ascii characters
