How to hide temporary MS Office files in Nextcloud?

External storages are configured in Nextcloud, which are shared via Samba. The user can access them both through the web interface and over the local network. But when editing Office files - xlsx, docx, "tails" remain in the form of temporary files of the form ~ $ filename.docx, which are not visible in the standard Windows Explorer, but are displayed through the Nextcloud web interface. What's the best way to make sure they don't show up, or how can I set Office to pick up temporary files?

Hello,
Temporary files of the document editing mode cannot be removed, unfortunately. But, they are created at the moment the file is opened for editing and are deleted when the file is closed. If they are not deleted for you, then they were either violated during the editing of an open file, or the file was closed incorrectly (incorrectly) and they were not deleted automatically.
One of the reasons why a temporary file is not deleted is an attempt to synchronize this file with a cloud service, since during synchronization its date, attribute, etc. can be changed, also during the synchronization process, the file is also partially blocked, recreated, and for this the cloud service itself uses its own temporary files. It looks like the two programs are interfering with each other. In order for the cloud service not to interfere with (not try to synchronize) temporary files from the Office (so that they are deleted when the document is closed), you need to set up a list of files ignored for synchronization in the cloud client.
I use Owncloud and I have no problems with such files, maybe it needs to be configured in Nextcloud. For Nextcloud ( https://docs.nextcloud.com/server/12/user_manual/ ) it is written here:
