How to hide or deny access to the system on another drive?

I have 2 systems installed on different hdds (two ubunts), now I can view / edit / delete files from one system to another, relatively speaking, like on a flash drive, is there a way to hide a partition from another OS? I've tried using gsettings set org.gnome.shell.extensions.dash-to-dock show-mounts false but that doesn't help through the file manager, I still see the disk with another OS.

You can unmount this partition completely.
If it is in /etc/fstab, add the noauto option to the corresponding line or comment it out altogether.
If it is not registered there, udev can mount it, then you need to poke around in /etc/udev/rules.d
