How to hide from the provider?

Recently, the question of achieving complete anonymity on the Internet has begun to worry. If I understood correctly, then the ISP can get any information about the client's activity on the network if all requests go through its proxy server. I would like to know if it is possible to somehow avoid this, hide data about visited resources, sent requests, uploaded and downloaded files. Do the tor or i2p network, the use of VPN and proxy help in this case?
